Child Development

Our child development classes explore how a child develops from birth to age eight from all the developmental domains: physical/motor, cognitive, social, emotional, and language. We also take a look at the individual ages and milestones in regard to child development. With child development knowledge, you can better identify, interpret, and respond to a child’s individual needs. Whatever your role in the field, you’ll be prepared to respond effectively to the needs, challenges, and capacities of children to help them get the best start in life.
