RC101 – Child Abuse and Neglect

After completing the course Child Abuse and Neglect, participants should be able to:

1. Explain the purpose of support programs for new parents and providers.
2. List three types of child neglect.
3. List three possible signs of a child being neglected.
4. List four possible signs of physical abuse.
5. List five possible ways for individuals to break the cycle of emotional abuse.
6. Explain what sexual exploitation means.

30 minutes of Factors indicating a child is at risk for abuse or neglect

30 minutes of Signs indicating a child may be a victim of abuse or neglect

30 minutes of Procedures for reporting child abuse or neglect

30 minutes of Community organizations that have training.
