This training will discuss the importance of observation, assessment and documentation for young children. The participants will learn different formal and informal ways to document the abilities of young children.  Participants will also learn how to take that information and use it to plan better classroom activities.

Value: Completion of this class is worth 7 clock hours of training and certificate will be emailed or mailed after completion of all requirements.

- explain and demenstrate the way to use observation records

- explain why we should use observation, documentation and assessment

- explain when to use informal and formal documentation
