Creative Art Curriculum

In this class you will learn the importance of art in any child care program. When we allow children to explore with art materials, they are able to express themselves nonverbally. Art is important for children of all ages. It does not have to be expensive either, and we will explore many free and cheep art programs.

Value: Completion of this class is worth 3 clock hours of training and certificate will be emailed or mailed after completion of all requirements.

Objectives: Successful participants will:
- explain the importance of art

- explain how developmentally appropriate practice relates to a child's art

- list and explain the advantages of art for children
